Painted Harvest Stamp set.

I had so much fun using the same stamp set and creating 5 different looks.  The Painted Harvest stamp is a layering set so you can add a solid color then another color with texture. I also used the coordinating leaf punch.

The top card I used the beautiful floral print from the Best Dressed Designer series paper. The sunflowers are Flirty Flamingo with Melon Mambo and Petal Pink with Calyspso Coral. The leaves are Old Olive and Pear Pizzazz. Added a splash of glitter using the Wink of Stella glitter brush.

Using the Buffalo Check stamp for the background in Daffodil Delight. Stamped the sunflowers in Daffodil Delight & Crushed Curry. The cut out leaves using the leaf punch and colors Old Olive & Pear pizzazz. The saying came from Time For Tags stamp set stamped on a tag from the Stitched Labels framelits dies, and finished it off with Champagne rhinestones.

This fabulous Birthday card turned out perfect. Stamped the background in Old Olive. Used stitches Labels for the border around the sunflower. Saying from Little Ladybug stamp which you can ear for free until March 31st.

I am in love with this card. It was so much fun making it. The flower is from Little Ladybug stamp set. LOVE stamped on Burlap ribbon

Always great when I can make a simple card. Gorgeous Grape card stock is so pretty.

Around The Corner stamp set

Woke up to a bunch of snow today. For the first time since we moved to Wyoming 4 years ago the kids were happy to wake up to a "snow day"
It has snowed all day!
and supposed to snow most of tonight.  Then my son says it would be cool if they call for another snow day tomorrow.  Haha! I doubt it son

Around the corner stamp set, Painted Harvest, Brick & Mortar embossing folder.I love how our embossing folders add some texture to the card.

My daughter and I stayed in the craft room today. I made a couple of cards and she has been sewing with my help when needed.

Yesterday she worked on a tag blankie for her nephew.

This is what she worked on today. Sewed 8 pinwheel blocks , cut material for 24 more blocks and still more to be made after that.

For this fun Birthday card I used Stampin'up! Around The Corner stamp set, Birthday Bonanza paper, Metallic Bakers twine & sequins.
To purchase these item please shop at https://sandyheard.stampinup.net/

I'll keep you up to date if there will be another "snow day" tomorrow 😊

Heart to Heart Valentine's Day card

You guys, I have been really slow at getting these cards made. Katelyn is still home sick. Poor girl has missed 3 days so far and will be home again tomorrow. My head still hurts and I spent an hour and a half waiting to get my sons haircut and I managed to finish this up tonight.

I love pink and red together

Supplies used for this fun card were...
*Whisper white cardstock
*Heart to Heart Designer paper
*Heart to Heart Stamp set bundle
*Butterfly Beauty dies
*Layering Ovals
*Heart Doilies
*Stitched Labels dies
*Tuxedo Black Memento ink pad
*Red Rhinestone Jewels

Of course you will need a die cut machine. Stampin'Up! will be selling there own design soon. Don't forget the adhesives. I used our snail adhesive, fine tip glue pen,  glue dots and dimensionals.

Beautiful Abounds thank you card

Between working, taking dog to the groomer, picking her up, taking daughter to the doctor to get a stitch taken out and a migraine I had for several hours, I managed to make 1 card and I am very please at how it turned out.
Tools and materials needed were the Big Shot (Stampin'Up! no longer sell this but they are in the works of selling their own die cutter) I love mine! A beauty Abounds stamp set, paper from the Best Dressed Designer series pack, Butterfly Beauty  die set, and the Corrugated embossing folder.
I absolutely love these layering square dies. They also come in layering circles,  layering ovals and also we have a Stitched rectangles.

Oh who doesn't like Butterflies.  This die set creates the most beautiful butterflies to add to anything.

Here is an example from the catalog

Look close and you can see the sparkle from the Wink  a Stella glitter br

January Paper Pumpkin "I'll Bee Yours"

My day started out pretty good, then I got a phone call from my son's school nurse. He had to be picked up due to a fever. Poor guy. He feels horrible.
Will be home tomorrow.

So my day didn't go as planned. I wanted to get January's box done. I did get a few finished and made a few cards using this months stamp kit.

I love this months project kit!
I did manage to get a few done. I even made a couple of simple cards.

Below are the 2 cards I made using this months materials.

I wrote this yesterday. I now have 2 sick kids who stayed home from school today. I will try to get some more made this weekend.

Sometimes my creative mind just won't work!

Being in my craft room makes me happy!

What makes me go crazy is when I sit at my table looking at stamps, ink, die cuts and paper and can't decide what to do.

What makes me happier is when my mind finally works and creates fun, beautiful or even the just  the simplest card!
