Heart to Heart Valentine's Day card

You guys, I have been really slow at getting these cards made. Katelyn is still home sick. Poor girl has missed 3 days so far and will be home again tomorrow. My head still hurts and I spent an hour and a half waiting to get my sons haircut and I managed to finish this up tonight.

I love pink and red together

Supplies used for this fun card were...
*Whisper white cardstock
*Heart to Heart Designer paper
*Heart to Heart Stamp set bundle
*Butterfly Beauty dies
*Layering Ovals
*Heart Doilies
*Stitched Labels dies
*Tuxedo Black Memento ink pad
*Red Rhinestone Jewels

Of course you will need a die cut machine. Stampin'Up! will be selling there own design soon. Don't forget the adhesives. I used our snail adhesive, fine tip glue pen,  glue dots and dimensionals.

Beautiful Abounds thank you card

Between working, taking dog to the groomer, picking her up, taking daughter to the doctor to get a stitch taken out and a migraine I had for several hours, I managed to make 1 card and I am very please at how it turned out.
Tools and materials needed were the Big Shot (Stampin'Up! no longer sell this but they are in the works of selling their own die cutter) I love mine! A beauty Abounds stamp set, paper from the Best Dressed Designer series pack, Butterfly Beauty  die set, and the Corrugated embossing folder.
I absolutely love these layering square dies. They also come in layering circles,  layering ovals and also we have a Stitched rectangles.

Oh who doesn't like Butterflies.  This die set creates the most beautiful butterflies to add to anything.

Here is an example from the catalog

January Paper Pumpkin "I'll Bee Yours"

My day started out pretty good, then I got a phone call from my son's school nurse. He had to be picked up due to a fever. Poor guy. He feels horrible.
Will be home tomorrow.

So my day didn't go as planned. I wanted to get January's box done. I did get a few finished and made a few cards using this months stamp kit.

I love this months project kit!
I did manage to get a few done. I even made a couple of simple cards.

Below are the 2 cards I made using this months materials.

I wrote this yesterday. I now have 2 sick kids who stayed home from school today. I will try to get some more made this weekend.

Sometimes my creative mind just won't work!

Being in my craft room makes me happy!

What makes me go crazy is when I sit at my table looking at stamps, ink, die cuts and paper and can't decide what to do.

What makes me happier is when my mind finally works and creates fun, beautiful or even the just  the simplest card!

It came, It came!

My starter kit has arrived!!!
I am in love with Stampin Up products. This box was packed full of goodies.
This 2 sided paper pack is absolutely beautiful!  It is called Peaceful Poppies. And coordinates with our Painted Poppies stamp set. Also comes as a bundle with the Painted Labels dies.

I am super excited to get started on this journey.

Super excited!

I am so excited. UPS should be delivering my Stampin' Up starter kit today. I can not wait to show you all! I can't even remember what I ordered, so it will be a surprise to me as well.

Here are 3 of our 5, (yes you read that right 5) dogs. We adopted not 1 but 2, 8 week old puppies. They were found at a dump at just 3 weeks old. Poor little things. It's been a challenge potty training but they are getting better. They are now 4 months old.

Stepping out of my comfort zone!

Hello, I am super excited to start my very own blog. Having never done this before, means stepping way out of my comfort zone.
First let me introduce myself. My name is Sandy Heard. I have been crafting for a long time now and have a room full of wonderful things. It all started about 17 years ago when I was gifted a new sewing machine when I got pregnant with my son. We did have a daughter already so I learned how to make a few outfits. Having 4 kids(picture below)I had to start scrapbooking also because who doesn't scrapbook and brag about their babies. I fell in love with rubber stamps and  making cards and sending to loved ones. The other day I decided to take it a leap of faith and became a Stampin' Up Demonstrator.

                                              Three of my wonderful kids.
